The 2013 CrossFit Games is here! Team Idler is ready for action!
The CrossFit Games are the world’s premier test to find the Fittest on Earth™. They are world-renowned as a grueling test for the world’s toughest athletes and a thrilling experience for spectators!
The action begins Tuesday, July 23 for FallOut CrossFit athlete Ken Idler. We are so excited and honored to travel down to California and support Ken in the World Championships! Ken is currently ranked number 18 in the world as a Master’s athlete (ages 50-54). There will be three days of competition (Tue, Wed, Thurs) for Ken. Follow the up to date action on the CrossFit Games Leaderboard to see how Ken ranks after each of the workouts. Check out the Fan Zone for additional information! I will be taking lots of pics and trying to update the blog (if all goes well with technology) as we go along!
Be sure to be watching the Tri-City Herald for a feature article on Ken!
This is an exciting time for Ken, but for you as well. Know that you are an important member of the support team and your positive thoughts and shout outs are heard! Let’s keep up the positive energy and put everything we all have into this event! We will definitely be celebrating when we get back!!!
Big props to the coaches remaining at FOCF to keep the gym running! We, and all the athletes, appreciate you! Be safe, work hard, and follow the action with us!
Please note, Open Gym will be cancelled next week, but all the other classes will run as scheduled.
