When did you first start training at FOCF?: A Little bit before Summer 2011
Favorite WOD: Dumbell Burpees
Least Favorite WOD: Anything with Rowing
Tell us about you sports & fitness background: Well I started playing soccer as most kids do, and soon found that Volleyball was my passion. And now play Competitive volleyball and also softball.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? My mom started coming to CrossFit and would always come home and say how fun it was. And soon I tagged along one day to watch and next thing you know I feel in love with it.
Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel? I don’t remember the specific WOD, but all i know is I felt like it was something i could get used to doing.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CF (before/after)? Before I did CrossFit I wasn’t one of the healthiest girls but I was very active. I soon discovered that I was gaining muscle in my legs and arms and I could do many activities like running for so much longer and not be so out of breath.
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected? That I choose to fuel my body differently Before CrossFit I wouldn’t have even thought twice about what I was eating and how it would affect my body.
Please share with us any favorite CrossFit / FOCF moments: My favorite memories of CrossFit is just coming in and seeing everyone just so happy and glad to be there. Also that it feels like its one big huge family.
