Since 2004 CrossFit Kids and Teens have been “Forging The Future” of Fitness. In a group setting, athletes participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes.

CrossFit Kids and Teen workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general. The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that athletes need to do when they pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift and jump. All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit Kids and Teen Trainers. When fitness is defined as broad, inclusive and general it means that participants will become well-rounded athletes who will be better at any and every sport that they play because CrossFit Kids and Teens doesn’t coach them to be good at just one thing. Our workouts will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

With workouts that are scalable, CrossFit Kids can equally benefit a person who is less active or an accomplished athlete by tailoring workouts so that each participant is challenged just enough to deliver measurable results and personal athletic progress.

CrosssFit Kids is designed for ages 5-12 and CrossFit Teens is for ages 12 and up. These age recommendations are broad and generalized – athletes that consistently show technical mastery of movements in class and exude maturity may be invited to an older age group. The same goes for students that would benefit from a reduced complexity class – these athletes may best fit in with the Kids course. The CrossFit Kids and Teens Coaches will make the decision in the best interest of the athlete.

CrossFit Kids – Ages 12 & under

Mondays and Wednesdays 4:00 – 4:45 pm

 

CrossFit Teens  – Ages 12 & up

Mondays and Wednesdays 4:45 pm-5:30 pm

 

Payment: $60 per month (tax included), per athlete

 Please note: FallOut CrossFit Kids and Teens follows the Richland School District calendar. This includes holidays and in the event of school closure due to weather, classes are cancelled.
