In 2010 she began volunteering for Camp Patriot and quickly became a critical and essential part of our team. Last November, Janet was responsible for identifying and helping us secure a $100,000 financial grant. This grant has enabled us to deliver our life changing adventures and mentoring program to more veterans than ever before.
She meets the demands of work, family and volunteering by energizing at Fallout CrossFit where she has been a loyal disciple since 2009. Janet is the creator and race director of the Camp Patriot 4th of July Fun Run which has doubled in size each year.

Janet, like every true Patriot, has a unique ability to mobilize her friends, family and community into action. She continues to find new ways to support our military service members, their families and our veterans.
Janet’s latest project is to help Camp Patriot win the Monzilla Firefox Challenge by coordinating the CrossFit nation to raise funds by doing a “workout-of-the day” in honor of fallen Navy SEAL and former Camp Patriot spokesperson Ryan Job.
Since 2006 Camp Patriot has focused on creating relationships with wounded veterans. These relationships have help to transform 125 lives.
Challenge, Change & Lead
Camp Patriot is a Christ-centered non-profit organization that offers wounded veterans of all generations unique outdoor challenges that allow them to earn back confidence and dignity and prove that they can accomplish anything. Each challenge is specifically designed to create a powerful “life transformation”.
Our program fosters strong relationships between our veteran participants and our mentor staff. Camp Patriot mentors are themselves community leaders who assist in guiding our veterans though the process of healing their physical and emotional wounds in order to successfully reintegrate back into school, careers, their families and communities. Many of our alumni have gone on to great leadership positions in their communities.
