A Great Paleo Story

I stumbled upon this blog, Paleo Chronicles, while browsing my Facebook feed, but this lady’s story is probably similar to most peoples’. Everybody has there up and down days but after many days of CrossFit here was her quote, “I had no illusions about becoming a “firebreather” or “CrossFit badass”. Not only that, but with the demands of my home life, including the disintegration of my marriage and the beginning of 6 years of being married but separated, I just couldn’t find it within me to impose a rigid diet upon myself which would require lots of attention, energy, and deprivation. It was a stress I just wasn’t willing to add. I began to think that I was just going to have to get used to being fat, and that although I could increase my athletic capacity, I couldn’t actually effect a change in my physique” But soon you begin to realize that the food you put in you, the sleep you get, and the stresses in your life all add up and you will begin to see that good nutrition is the best investment in your health you can have.
