CrossFit is Fun!

With America’s waistline growing ever so much larger, there comes in to question people ability to exert self control. A new study by the Journal of Consumer Research says that people’s ability to have self control depend on whether or not people perceive the activity (e.g. eating healthy) as an obligation to work or an opportunity to have “fun”. I knew there was a reason I keep referring to CrossFit as “fun”!! And why we come up with an acronym for working out, WOD. The less you think of it as “work” and the more you think of it as “fun” the more likely you will come back day after day and get the results you want!

Three rounds for time of:

  • Ground to overhead, 10 reps (clean & jerk, snatch, etc)
  • 200 yard Shuttle sprint, 50 yards there and back twice (touch ground)
  • Level III: 95/65
  • Level II: 75/45
  • Level I: 45/35
