Tuff Stuff

We have are own little CrossFit “cult” here. I only say cult because people think we are CRAZY! This stuff is hard. I won’t ever be an olympic athlete or anything but I sure am training like I will. This is the biggest physical challenge many of us will ever face in our lifetimes and we do it everyday. And did I mention this is hard, really hard. We could stay up late, sleep in miss out morning class, or say work was too hard I’m going home. Instead of nervously waiting for the WOD to start has everyone is warming up, getting ready to take off at the sound of 3-2-1 Go!

Is it this anticipation and fear of the workouts that makes this stuff so great? I don’t know but this stuff makes you feel and alive and willing to tackle the world! We do life’s simplest things in here, pick things up and run, jump on stuff, and throw things. For 60 minutes this is us!

WOD:

  • 3 Minutes Max Box Jump
    • 1 Minute Rest
  • 3 Minutes Pull-ups
    • 1 Minute Rest
  • 3 Minutes Thrusters
  • Level III – 24″/20″, pullups, 115/85
  • Level II – 20″ band pullups, 95/65
  • Level I – 20″, band pullups, 45/35

Score = Total reps for all 3 exercises
