Intervals = Increase Endurance

Alot of people like running because someone told them it’s good for their heart or that they get a good burn out of it. Many of these people wonder really short intense workouts, like what is done here, actually help endurance. I got into CrossFit because I wanted to do triathlons. This summer I’m going to attempt a full Ironman course. This is a big step for me and all of my training is high intensity interval training. I will make sure to get in some shorter races prior, but for the most part this is it. Here’s an article from the NY Times, Can You Get Fit in Six Minutes a Week? I guess just now people are starting to have their eyes opened to this type of training. Intensity get you the goods!
