We do alot of lifting here in the gym and the shoes with big cushions heels that make you feel like you are walking on clouds just wont do the trick. We want a good solid connection between you and the ground. So that when you push or pull on something that the energy that you are putting into the ground is transferred directly and is not wasted in your shoes. These shoes were design and marketed by shoe companies because they are trying to help correct generations of bad running technique. Here are some good recommendations for shoes for the gym. A cheap pair of converse will work just fine too, don’t break the bank on a pair of shoes. Most likely it will be the shoe that no one wants to buy so they’ll be relatively cheap.
