Step it up!

I have to say this workout has been one of the more intensive ones as of lately. Good to see a couple people that have been down and out back in the gym. Welcome back Malinda and Jay!

As with most things in the world what we eat is largely determine by the money we are willing to spend on the foods we eat, and the economics of food supply based on the companies that supply this food. This is a big deal in the world today. My confidence in our nation’s food industry is lacking and even more so in the people of the world who are eating this food. Too many of us determine what we eat by the convenience of what is literally put in front of you. Gone are the days of making your own meal, they have been replaced by fast food resturaunts and fancy sit down eateries that are no more that fancy microwave dinners. After reading books likeĀ The Omnivore’s Dilemma, seeing movies like Super Size Me, my confidence in our nation’s food industry is extremely low. The companies of the world have one thing to focus on, are they making more money then they did before? On the other side, the health industry is going, why are so many people getting sick? Does this bother anybody else, and if so why don’t people do anything about it?
